1114: Ariel Technical School (OEM)
Ariel’s Technical School is designed for those who have a basic knowledge of the compression process and desire to advance their knowledge. The instructors are from Ariel’s engineering teams and will lead discussions about package components and theory of compression.
The main focus of the Technical School is the Ariel 7 Performance software and using it to size and optimize any Ariel compressor. The student will be instructed in the setup and the use of the software. The class also includes a tour of the factory for those attending the Mt. Vernon session.
Other items included in the class are compressor components, applications, operational guidelines and limits. The lubrication system, rod packing, piston rings and compressor valves are thoroughly discussed. Capacity control and the various ways to accomplish this is a major topic.
This class is also in the planning stage to be conducted in Midland when possible.
