1121 KTA19/GTA38 Engines
Cummins provides classes for the KTA 19 / GTA 38 engines. These classes are held at Cummins’ training facility in Arlington Texas. The class is for five days and begins at 8:00 A. M. each day. The instructor covers the electronic components and the mechanical systems for these two engines as well as lab instruction. Cummins has a KTA that is attached to a dyno and will be run under load. The GTA is for mechanical instruction which includes best practices for removing heads, pistons and liners, and reinstalling them. Everyone who has attended this class has nothing but praise for the instructors, the class room instruction and the lab work.
