Position Overview:
Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the safety programs, ensuring compliance with
company policies and local, state, and federal agency regulations. Conducts and/or participates in
preventative and compliant-generated site inspections and facilitates safety in-service programs as
directed.

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Establish relationships within the workplace to drive a speak-up culture and support in
developing a strong safety culture.
- Hazard risk identification / analysis / assessments
- Assist in the development and deployment of health and safety initiatives
- Implement employee-training programs as indicated by regulatory guidelines, hazardous
condition monitoring, customer demands, and use of safety equipment, including authorized
level training
- Identify opportunities to eliminate workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems, with the
goal of continuously improving current processes.
- Use resources to identify and warn employees about potential hazards.
- Ensure that Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / Safety Work Practices (SWP) are
maintained and communicated to employees.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations
- Audit safety equipment and recommends replacements, i.e. fall arrest, steps/ladders, tools, first
aid response equipment, etc.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Manage work related incidents with a focus on case management
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rulesPerforms other duties as assigned
