Sales Operations Specialist

Position Overview: 

The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced and high performing sales executives and can expect the opportunity to progress within a number of business functions in line with company growth. This role would suit a detail oriented and proactive professional looking to learn from an experienced team in order to progress their career in business.

1 Position Available/ Permanent – Full Time

Location: Houston, Texas

Responsibilities/ Job Duties:

  • Support Regional Sales Managers (RSM) in pursuit of customer opportunities, routine customer support activities, and logistics (e.g. bids/RFQs/RFPs/Proposals)
  • Develop contracts / work orders using company standards and as per RSM advised terms
  • Manages commercial and MSA contracts archives via CRM and company business systems
  • Maintain sales operations protocol per company standards
  • Provide sales collateral / presentation material to support RSM Deal pursuits
  • Complete monthly review of contract rates vs fleet report documentation with Finance team
  • Work with RSM and financial department to resolve any Accounts Receivables issues
  • Promotes and supports local industry shows, conferences, exhibits, etc.
  • Offer creative ideas to improve sales/order to cash processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales, Marketing or related discipline
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, managing to multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated work style with the ability to manage multiple assignments with changing and sometimes competing priorities
  • Good analytical skills; good written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven individual who enjoys working in a team environment with latitude to manage their own activities
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • High proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot or NetSuite preferred)
  • Practical user of Microsoft Office with a high proficiency in Excel
  • Previous experience in a support role with a minimum of 3 years of office experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily
  • Lift up to 25 pounds as needed
  • Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents
  • Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone
