The training center has acquired a panel board with a simulator built in to demonstrate the functions of the C-4 and C-5 panels. This class will be taught by various people from within the Estis and McClung organization.

The class will include instruction in identifying the different modules and their circuits as well as reading and understanding the panel drawings. The display is the road map to operating the different features of the panel, and thus operation the compressor. This class will walk the technician through the many pages of the display to access gauge readings and the active and historical warnings and faults.

This panel has the capability to simulate the running of a compressor package. The simulator enables the class to observe and learn what the changes to the readings means in a safe and controlled environment. The discussions of the panel readings are so much easier and productive in the classroom setting as opposed to the loud, windy and dusty location.

A feature is in the works to be able to use the simulator to test software updates and changes in the training center instead of the field. This will eliminate having to get customer approval to conduct experiments on their locations. This will also allow Estis to have advanced training that can be taught by OEM experts at no extra cost to Estis.
